About Nic and Debbie

Nic first started performing in bands in the late 1970's, having learned guitar whilst at school. His main instrument then however was bass (although occasionally playing the saxophone). The bands he was involved with played rock, blues, and pop classics. Since then however, his main instrument has become the acoustic guitar (although he plays acoustic bass in the five piece band he and Debbie are members of).

Debbie's background was quite different; performing in a variety of musical shows and productions in the theatre, from 17 years of age. She's loved music all her life and has produced quite a number of concerts and musical events over the years (many as fundraisers for various charities). Debbie decided in 2008 to branch into acoustic music where she joined Nic, playing mostly for fun !

Although Nic and Debbie met in 2004, they didn't actually begin singing together as a duo until 2008. Now, with well over 16 years of experience as a duo, they have played regularly at various venues and performed at numerous birthdays, anniversary parties and weddings.
